So, I'm ankle deep in my third book of the 10 Days story arc. I have plans for three more.
I thought I would take a break after the first book. Then I said I would take a break after the second book. Now, I've jumped right in to the third book with plans to take about a week after that one is completed. I'm anticipating it will be done early April. Since that's RT month, I might actually take that break.
I've written three books since August and while I'm giddy, I'm still learning my own process. At least, a process that works. The first book I wrote took me years. YEARS. And I hated it.
I've had so many authors tell me that they feel so drained when they finish a book and me, I'm just excited to start the next one. What about you guys?
Happy Holidays!

You never fail to amaze.
Congrats!
Oh, well thank you. *laughs*
Lord, you sound like me. I was gonna take a break after River Rats, but Hag 2 called. Finished her up and then comes finishing off Redeeming. Promised myself after Redeeming I'd rest, no way was I going to delve into NaNoWriMo, but the Stellarverse beckoned.
I'd rather let the chores pile up and play with my imaginary friends, so really, who needs a break ;-)
Go Saranna! I totally don't know how you do it, but I'm thrilled to have six "10 Days" books to look forward to!
Jennifer- YES, that's it exactly. I have to listen anyway, or I'll be driving down the road and a character fugue will hit me and I'll be galavanting through Hell looking for Grace, or cosidering stabbing Cupid in the ass with his own arrow. So, it's better to listen when they want me to listen. :)
Gail,
Thanks! I'm looking forward to it too. Each pair of characters is exciting and hopefully fresh and this doesn't seem like work at all. :)
